WYANDOTTE — A police officer arrested a 25-year-old Detroit man at 1:46 a.m. May 14 in the 2000 block of Biddle after he was observed driving 70 mph in a 30-mph zone.
When the police officer was able to catch up to the man to conduct a traffic stop, he showed obvious signs of intoxication, and failed multiple standard field sobriety tests.
A preliminary breath test was administered, and the man had a blood-alcohol content more than twice the 0.08 limit for legally drunk in Michigan.
