WYANDOTTE — A police officer terminated a high-speed chase in the 3100 block of Fort Street at 2 a.m. May 15 after a Dodge Charger operator, who was driving at 70 mph, accelerated to more than 100 mph to evade a traffic stop. The pursuit was terminated in the interest of public safety near Mayflower Street.
