LINCOLN PARK — A 48-year-old woman said a stranger entered her house on Riverbank Street and broke a bedroom door lock the evening of April 24 while she was at the store and her two daughters were in the backyard playing on a trampoline.

The girls, who did not see the man enter the house, said he told them from the driveway that his grandmother used to live in the house, before he walked back to his car.

However, the woman said the side door to the house was unlocked, and when she returned from the store, she discovered that one of the bedroom doors had been forcibly opened by breaking the door handle. She said nothing appeared to be missing.

There were no nearby surveillance cameras.

The man was described by her daughters as white, in his mid-20s, 5 feet 11 inches tall, with thinning black hair with bald spots. He was wearing thick black framed glasses, a white T-shirt, and a gray hoodie and sweat pants. He drove a newer model black Ford Fusion.
