DEARBORN — A 30-year-old Oak Park woman was arrested the afternoon of April 29 when she attempted to use the self-checkout lane to bag and conceal more than $500 worth of unpaid merchandise at Walmart, 5851 Mercury Drive.
She was stopped at the exit doors by loss prevention personnel. Responding police officers found that she had an outstanding arrest warrant and prior shoplifting convictions.
She was taken in custody, booked and held until she posted a $500 cash bond.
