ALLEN PARK — A suspect was arrested for the careless use of a firearm May 2 at Huron River Apartments on Old Goddard Road.
Police officers responding to a shots fired call found a gray and black semi-automatic 9-millimeter pistol on a shelf near mailboxes in an apartment building hallway, with a black pistol magazine loaded with rounds to the left of the pistol.
A live round was removed from the pistol, and the gun and ammo were placed in an evidence bag.
