TRENTON — Beaumont Hospital, Trenton, 5450 Fort St., will sponsor a medication take-back back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 29, with a drive-through drop-off station at the main entrance to minimize face-to-face contact.

The collection is for unused or expired prescription medications, over-the-counter medications and other pills, with no questions asked. No needles or liquid medications will be collected.

The program, sponsored by the Beaumont Trenton pharmacy, Beaumont Teen Health Centers and the Trenton Police Department, advises people to limit access of unused medications to teens, to eliminate the potential for substance abuse.
