The city of Dearborn is actively seeking participants for its 2022 Memorial Day Parade. Deadline for registration has been extended to April 30.

DEARBORN — The participant registration deadline for the Dearborn Memorial Day Parade has been extended to April 30, the city announced.

Any group, band or organization interested in participating has until April 30 instead of the original date of April 15 to submit an official application. To access the document, go to https://cityofdearborn.org/memorialdayparade.

The annual event is organized by a parade committee consisting of members of the Dearborn Allied War Veterans Council, the Office of the Mayor, and the Dearborn Police Department, among other members. The last parade took place in May 2019.

Fatooma Saad, city’s veterans liaison, is organizing the efforts for the parade, and is leading the planning and operations of the event in partnership with the DAWVC. She will be working with anyone who submits an application for consideration.

More details about the Memorial Day Parade are available at www.cityofdearborn.org.
