TAYLOR — A Taurus 9-millimeter pistol went missing April 2 from a 32-year-old Taylor woman’s residence, where she said it had been stored in a lock box under her bed, until it was stolen by a male companion, whom she referred to as a “friend with benefits.”
The victim said that about an hour after her friend left her residence, she noticed the gun was missing. The 37-year-old Dexter man had a no-extradition warrant out of Texas for possession of marijuana.
The pistol was entered into the Law Enforcement Information Network as stolen.
