WYANDOTTE — A Downriver man was recently arrested for operating while impaired and possession of cocaine, with a cold, open beer next to him, prompting him to quip to the police officer, “How’d that get there?”

He was arrested and taken to the police station, where he was booked and held, and his vehicle was impounded and towed.
