Kiwanis Club of Allen Park members Frank Liberati (left), Greg Bader, Don Graham and Fran Babbage present an $8,000 check to Allen Park Schools Director of Special Services Matthew Sokol and teachers Kate Pearson and Karyn Brooks during a Jan. 24 Board of Education meeting. The funds donated by the club will benefit the Allen Park Schools Autism Spectrum program. “The Kiwanis Club of Allen Park is truly committed to making a difference in the lives of children, and on behalf of the AP school community, we extend our sincere appreciation for their generosity and dedication to improving the world, one child at a time,” Supt. Michael Darga said.
