DEARBORN — An Ann Arbor man who was caught on camera stealing $10 in returnable containers from a backyard in the 3100 block of Grindley Park Street, at 3:03 a.m. April 9, was found and cited thanks a live smart phone alert and footage from a Ring doorbell camera.
After the smart phone alert awoke the resident, he called police officers, who eventually found the thief, a middle-aged white male in a blue hoody, gray jacket, with baggy blue pants, walking along Telegraph Road, south of Carlysle Street. The empties were returned to the resident.
