Luana
Luana, an 11-month-old female mixed breed, is a great walker and a sweet dog who gives kisses, and wants to cuddle on her handler’s lap. A shelter volunteer said Luana was very gentle and agreeable when bathed. Luana, who originally arrived at the shelter as a stray, likes to play with tennis balls, plush squeaky toys and rope toys. Adoption fee is $150.
Lola
Lola, a 19-month-old female mixed breed, is a surrender because her owner is moving overseas. She is a shy girl who needs to be brought out of her shell. Adoption fee is $150.
Bertha
Bertha is a 13-week-old female domestic shorthair. Ask to meet her at the shelter. Adoption fee is $60.

Adoption fees vary. All cats go home spayed or neutered, microchipped and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. All dogs go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, heart worm tested (if at least 6 months old), and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. The Dearborn Animal Shelter is at 2661 Greenfield in Dearborn. Shelter hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 11 a.m.to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
