Founder, Jamie Garrison, has held a life-long interest in yoga; beginning her study of yoga and meditation as a teenager. She has studied a variety of yoga traditions in her 15 years as a yogi and considers herself to be a humble student of the tradition of yoga. While continuing to work in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training. Jamie’s background in psychology compliments the philosophy of yoga to help create a calm peaceful union between the mind and body. Deeply drawn to her personal practice, Jamie found her true calling as a yoga teacher. She is grateful for this opportunity to share her devotion to yoga and to empower her clients to be their own best teacher.
