Skies cleared up just in time to kick off the 2013 Jazz on the Ave concert series July 10 in City Hall Park. A crowd estimated at 800 turned out to listen to Alexander Zonjic (above center) & Friends perform. The concert is the first of six scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Aug.14. Below, Tommy Spaghetti (left) of Jokes 4 Fun Entertainment paints the face of a young visitor. The series is organized by the East Dearborn Downtown Development
Authority.
