April 14, 2013 By Times-Herald Newspapers Leave a Comment

DEARBORN – The Henry Ford Community College women’s softball team will host the first Pink Games against Macomb Community College at 3 p.m. April 19 at Ford Woods Park, 5601 Mead.

Pink Games T-shirts are $20 and are available for pre-order. All proceeds benefit the Josephine Ford Cancer Institute, which is part of the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit.

The institute is a recognized leader in the research and treatment of cancer, offering patients many clinical trials offered in only a few centers around the country. This includes advanced gene therapy and the region’s most experienced radiosurgery program.

Bake sale items and beverages will be available for donation.

For further information, call coach Julie Jones at 734-765-7945 or coach Shannon Perry at 734-334-3204.
