Bailey’s Pub & Grille, 22091 Michigan Ave., hosted a Toys for Tots fundraiser which included a silent auction with items including an autographed poster of 1936 Olympic gold medalist Jesse Owens, a signed picture of Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander and a football signed by members of the Detroit Lions. The money raised at the event last year bought about 20,000 toys for area Children. During the fundraiser, Marine Lance Cpl. Anthony Rose (left), Pfc. Jacob Smith, Sgt. Adam Treaster and Gunnery Sgt. Jerome Oswald stand next to Marine Corps League Post 152 member Chuck Bernard (third from left), Detroit Lions wide receiver Maurice Stovall and Post Commandant Philip Smith.
