I’m hoping to get Benito. Fell in love with him the second i saw his picture! I went to the shelter yesterday to see him and filled out an application for him. I hope we get him. He will be loved so much here!

Thank you so much for your beautiful article! It is such a wonderful educational boost for Leader Dogs For The Blind to have such a well written and informative article. Did you know that the students at Memorial Elementary School in Riverview donated $854 dollars to Leader Dog in honor of our visit to them? Their goal is $1000! Amazing response from our youth. They donated their special reading program nickels and even “tooth fairy” money.

I hope that the prosecution does better with the actual trial than they do with letting people know when the trial starts. I have been supoenaed for testimony the trial was supposed to start today 3 – 12 – 2012 at 9:00 a.m. I get a call at 8:30 that it has been postponed until tomorrow. Usually I would have been down at the Court by then, but because the brakes on my car are going bad, I was going to ride down there with the detectives. However some of the friends of the family are already down at the court paid for the parking and are waiting for the trial. I am pissed about this because I was the one that told them it started today. The prosecutor was supposed to have called me over the weekend, but I never received a call!
