  • A 40-year-old Caledonia woman fell asleep on Robinson Avenue north of Ecorse Road about an hour before dawn Aug. 25, with her vehicle running and in neutral. After blocking the woman's vehicle nose-to-nose with a police vehicle, the officers attempted to awaken the woman.

  •     Police officers responding to Meijer, 3565 Fairlane Drive, the night of Aug. 7 based on a report of a man attempting to enter vehicles arrived to find the man passed out in the parking lot, unresponsive. Officers noted that the man was pale and clammy. A sternum rub, the application of painful stimulus to the center of the chest with the knuckles of a closed fist, was applied, to no avail.

  • A cashier at Home Depot, 3163 Fairlane Drive, a 20-year-old Melvindale woman, was taken into custody the afternoon of July 2 for embezzlement. Between April 21 and June 27 the woman allegedly took $1,500 worth of cash and gift cards. Store personnel provided the dates and amounts of cash register shortages and surveillance video evidence. She was taken into custody, booked at the Allen Park police station, then taken to the Dearborn police station and housed.

  • An Xbox One S with two controllers and five games, plus an iPod Touch, were stolen from a 2012 Silver GMC Arcadia parked near Champaign Park from 3 to 5 p.m. June 15 for a baseball tournament. The owner said he may have forgotten to lock the vehicle. The Xbox One S and controllers were valued at $300, and the games – Plants vs. Zombies, FIFA 15, Modern Warfare 2, Minecraft and Star Wars – were valued at $250. The iPod Touch was valued at $250. There was no damage to the vehicle.
