Police seek public’s help in finding attacker

Police are looking for a man and woman in a newer model gray Chrysler 200 with Ohio license plates on the front and rear of the vehicle. The pair allegedly attacked a woman in the parking lot of Taco Bell, 8956 W. Warren Ave., following a traffic altercation.

DEARBORN — Police have asked the public’s help in finding two people who attacked a woman in the parking lot of Taco Bell, 8956 W. Warren Ave., Feb. 9, leaving the woman unconscious.

Police said that after a traffic dispute about 10:20 p.m., a man and woman assaulted the victim. The man “body slammed” the victim on the pavement, which rendered her unconscious.

The pair fled in a newer model gray Chrysler 200 with Ohio license plates on the front and rear of the vehicle, police said. The pair were described as black and about 20 years old.

“The Dearborn Police Department will aggressively investigate this crime and utilize all available resources in doing so,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad. “We are urging the public to come forward and provide information to help identify the suspects involved in this crime.”
