City seeks to fill open seat on Board of Ethics

TAYLOR — The city is accepting applications for an open seat on its ethics board. The position is unpaid and voluntary.

The Board of Ethics prescribes a standard of conduct for public officers and employees to promote public confidence in public servants, to preserve the integrity of city government and to establish clear disclosure requirements and standards of conduct for all public servants of the city.

The board consists of five members appointed by Mayor Rick Sollars with the advice and consent of the City Council.

Anyone interested in applying for the position should submit a resume and a letter of interest to Communications Director Karl Ziomek at kziomek@ci.taylor.mi.us.

In addition, if anyone is interested in volunteering for any other board or commission in Taylor, resumes and letters of interest will be accepted, and kept on file as openings occur in the future.
