Taste of Dearborn returns June 20

DEARBORN — The Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce Taste of Dearborn returns from 6 to 10 p.m. June 20.

Dearborn’s annual “grub crawl” allows attendees to sample menu items from the bevy of participating restaurants.

Early bird general admission tickets are available for $25 until June 13, and $35 afterward. Admission includes appetizers from more than 20 participating restaurants in downtown west Dearborn and the Fairlane Town Center complex.

Participants receive a menu and map at registration beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the DACC office, on the first floor of Bryant Library, 22100 Michigan Ave.

Les Stanford Cadillac, 21711 Michigan Ave., once again serves as the host for the Wine & Beer Tasting Reception from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Attendees can enjoy appetizers and samples provided by LaPita Mediterranean Cuisine and live jazz entertainment from the vocal jazz group Midnight Blue. A limited number of tickets ($50) are available for the reception. Registration is required to attend the reception.

Free shuttles will be provided between downtown west Dearborn and the Fairlane Town Center complex until 9:45 p.m.

General admission ticket holders can pick up their wristbands the day of the event beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the DACC. Wristbands also may be picked up from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 18 and 19 at the DACC.
Confirmed restaurants are Andiamo-Dearborn, Archimedes Lounge at the Edward Hotel, Bailey’s Sports Grille, Bangkok 96 Thai Restaurant, Benihaha, bd’s Mongolian Grill, Brome Modern Eatery, Big Fish, Buddy’s Pizza, Buffalo Wild Wings, Butcher’s Grille & Market, Charlie’s Market, Common Grace Coffee Co., Dearborn Brewing, Del Taco, Dine With The King, Elmhurst Tap Room, Famous Hamburger, Ford’s Garage, La Pita Mediterranean Restaurant, Lue Thai Café, Matador Mexican Restaurant, Mint 29, Olga’s Kitchen, Starbucks, Trio Eats and Yogurtopia.
Additional restaurants are expected to join the event DACC officials said.
