HFC Hammond Planetarium hosts ‘Fireflies in the Garden’ through Aug. 9

DEARBORN — Henry Ford College will present “Fireflies in the Garden: A Summer Star Talk” beginning May 17 at the HFC Hammond Planetarium, in the Science Center on the main campus, 5101 Evergreen.

The “Summer Star Talk” runs every Wednesday from May 17 to Aug. 9 and every other Saturday from May 27 to July 22. The Wednesday show times are 7:30 p.m. Saturday show times are 3 p.m.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The “Summer Star Talk” is narrated by Susan McGraw, HFC academic coordinator of Telecommunication and Journalism/WHFR-FM general manager.

Doors open 15 minutes before show time and close promptly once the program begins. For safety reasons, HFC will not admit latecomers once the doors close.

No reservations are necessary and seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
