DEARBORN — A four-vehicle crash at the intersection of Warren Avenue and Chase Road on Jan. 24 is under investigation by Dearborn Police.

The crash resulted in damage to the outside patio of Signature Lounge, 14600 Warren Ave., when two vehicles collided at the intersection at 1 a.m.

Surveillance footage from Signature Lounge shows a black SUV traveling west on Warren Avenue and a silver sedan traveling north on Chase. Both vehicles made contact under the traffic light causing the silver sedan to catch on fire and damage to two other parked vehicles nearby.

The silver sedan was cut in half due to the incident, with the back half catching fire.

At the time of the crash, the black SUV was occupied by a driver and two passengers, and the silver sedan had only its driver inside.

No fatalities were reported, but drivers and passengers involved were taken to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The intersection was closed for a few hours while police investigated.

Police have not determined the cause of the crash as of publication. Dearborn detectives continue to collect evidence.
