DEARBORN — Three Detroit residents were arrested July 29 in connection with a home invasion in the 13000 block of South Morrow Circle that same day.
Marco Abram, 18; Steven Howard, 18; and Alexis Esselman, 17, were arraigned in 19th District Court before Judge William Hultgren and charged with first degree home invasion. Bonds of $5,000 each were set, with the condition that a GPS tether be worn upon release.
A probable cause conference was set for 9 a.m. Aug. 12 in 19th District Court, and a preliminary examination of the evidence against them set for 9 a.m. Aug. 19.
According to police reports, police were called to the house about noon. Once there, they noticed forced entry into the house then talked to witnesses who provided descriptions of the intruders.
The descriptions were broadcast to other officers who located the suspects and arrested them without incident.
“Crimes of this nature will not be tolerated in Dearborn,” Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. “These brazen acts destroy citizens’ quality of life and we will continue our proactive approach to apprehending criminals for crimes in progress.”
