Dearborn Heights police were able to track down a fleeing suspect June 23 after a car and foot chase.

The chase began when officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop for a suspended license, and the man to drove away.

The man drove through Dearborn and Dearborn Heights streets and alleys, making quick turns, and reaching speeds of 90 mph.

During the chase officers lost sight of the man, but received help from a WJBK Fox 2 Detroit helicopter. A SkyFox pilot was able to keep in contact with dispatchers, updating police on the location of the man.

The suspect, in his 30s, was seen parking and walking out of his vehicle hiding between houses and buildings.

Police were able to arrest the man without incident or injures.
Dearborn Heights police believe the man was fleeing police due to his suspended license and multiple warrants on his record.
