LINCOLN PARK – A teenage rape suspect’s 10 p.m. curfew reportedly brought an end to a woman’s nightmare, and police are looking for two men suspected of having kidnapped and sexually assaulted in her own vehicle.
Police are looking for two black men – one believed to be in his early 20s, the other 19 – who pulled a gun on a woman about 9 p.m. March 30. The woman had been parked at a drug store in town, and police said they spent the next hour driving around while the men took turns raping her.
They finally let the woman go, a police spokesperson said, because the victim heard the attackers say that the younger man was required by a court tether to be home by 10 p.m.
The older man was seen in a convenience store where security cameras captured him as he bought cigarettes that evening while the younger man remained in the car with the woman, police said.
The older man, believed to be 22 years old, was described as black, of medium complexion, about 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 150 pounds, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. The younger man was described as black, about 6 feet tall, medium build with “hanging braids” and wearing a dark blue jacket, black jeans and an ankle tether.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital for examination and treatment.
Anyone with information on these two men is asked to contact Lincoln Park police at 313-381-1800.
