HEIGHTS — A new burger restaurant will be making its debut in Dearborn Heights come this spring, Wayback Burgers.

The announcement for the fourth Wayback Burgers in Michigan was made March 9, with the new restaurant securing its location at 22000 Ford Road, adding 15 new jobs to the local economy.

The restaurant will be owned and operated by local franchisees Hussein Saab and Latifeh Sabbagh.

The new restaurant will include a 1,600-square-foot design, featuring a warm red barn board interior with white and stainless steel accents, modeled after the great American roadside burger joint.

“We are excited to open our first Wayback Burgers location in Dearborn Heights this spring,” Saab said. “We believe that the area is a great fit for the brand, and we look forward to providing excellent service and top notch burgers, fries, shakes and more for foodies in Dearborn Heights and beyond.”

Wayback Burgers advertises 100 percent fresh, never frozen ground beef, cooked to order, available as a single, classic double, triple, and triple triple (nine) patties.

The restaurant also offers milkshakes made using fresh milk and hand-dipped ice cream also with crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, fresh salads and fries, onion rings, home-style chili and house-made chips as sides.

“We are pleased to announce that we will be opening a Wayback Burgers in Dearborn Heights, and continuing our growth in Michigan,” Wayback Burgers President John Eucalitto said in a press release. “With steady debt-free growth, operations in 26 states and new locations opening at a rate of two per month, it’s an exciting time to be a part of the Wayback Burgers brand, and we wouldn’t be able to achieve this level of success without great franchise partners like Hussein and Latifeh and their team.”

Founded in 1991 in Newark, Del., Wayback Burgers is a Connecticut-based fast-casual franchise with a reputation for fresh burgers and thick, hand-dipped milkshakes.
It operates in 26 states with over 100 locations nationally and internationally in Argentina and Saudi Arabia.

Wayback Burgers, through its executed master franchise agreements, plans to open in 33 countries in the Middle East, Northern Africa, Argentina, Pakistan and Brunei, along with pending agreements for Mumbai, India.
