DEARBORN — In celebration of Christmas, Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church invites the public to attend two holiday concerts in December.

Measure for Measure Men’s Chorus, based in Ypsilanti, will present the first concert at 4 p.m. Dec. 13. This men’s chorus of more than 90 voices will perform an entertaining and inspirational holiday program in the sanctuary of Cherry Hill Presbyterian, 24100 Cherry Hill Road.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Proceeds from the concert will be used to help fund the church’s mission and music ministries.

The second holiday concert — at 4 p.m. Dec. 20 — will feature Michael Bodnyk, tenor soloist and cantor at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. Bodnyk sings more than 300 Masses and special concerts each year including the nationally broadcast “Christmas Midnight Mass.” He can be heard live as the cantor for Mass from St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings, broadcast live on Sirius/XM radio’s “The Catholic Channel,” and also on cable television.

Bodnyk will be accompanied by Meghan Meloy Ness, director of music and organist at Cherry Hill Presbyterian. The program will include sacred and secular favorites.

Admission is free; freewill offerings will be accepted.

“These musical performances will surely lift everyone’s spirits,” said Cherry Hill Presbyterian pastor the Rev. Mark Phillips. “We look forward to sharing their music with the community.”
