TAYLOR – A Taylor man charged with the assault of his former girlfriend and their daughter pleaded guilty to two of five counts for charges that included sexual assaults.

Jeremey Phillip Rozycki, 23, pleaded guilty on Nov. 20 to first-degree home invasion – a felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison – and aggravated stalking. Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Margaret Van Houten accepted the plea, which nullified a scheduled December trial.
Court officials said two counts of criminal sexual conduct were reduced under the terms of Rozycki’s plea agreement.

Police and prosecutors said Rozycki broke into the woman’s home in the 11700 block of Pine Street on Aug. 28, and had assaulted both her and the couple’s 3-year-old daughter after a late-night confrontation.

Rozycki is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 9, and remained in custody pending the court date.
