Dearborn declares snow emergency

DEARBORN — The city is declaring a snow emergency as of 8 a.m. Wednesday.
All parked vehicles must be removed from city streets at that time to allow for safer and more efficient snowplowing. Parked vehicles will be ticketed. Tickets are $40 if paid within three days, $80 if paid later.
The city’s outdoor warning sirens will sound at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Wednesday to announce the snow emergency. It will remain in effect until further notice.
Residents without driveways should ask neighbors if they can temporarily use their driveways to park. Vehicles cannot be parked across the sidewalks or on lawns.
