DEARBORN — Armloads of clothing were stolen from Al Wissam, 13354 Michigan Ave., during a crash-and-grab burglary about 5:30 a.m. Nov. 28.

Surveillance video shot inside and outside the clothing store showed a 2007 Jeep crashing into the building’s rear doors, creating an opening through which four men entered and stole several expensive jackets.

Police said all four men appear to be black, wearing knit hats and hooded shirts.

After exiting the store, all four men got into a dark colored Ford Econoline van with the merchandise and fled the scene.
A police check of the Jeep showed it to be stolen.

Police Chief Haddad said the Police Department needs help from the community to help solve this crime.

“Many times criminals will admit their crimes to friends and acquaintances,” Haddad said. “If you or someone you know has any information that may assist in identifying the suspects involved in this incident, please call the Dearborn police.”

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call the Dearborn police Tip Line at 313-943-3012.
