HFCC’s Fifty-One O One to host Holiday Buffet Nov. 13

DEARBORN — Fifty-One O One – the student-run restaurant at Henry Ford Community College – will host its annual Holiday Buffet on Nov. 13.

The restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.. The price of the buffet is $16. Reservations are recommended.

The restaurant is in the Student & Culinary Arts Center on the main campus, 5101 Evergreen.

The menu will include roast turkey (with pan gravy and bread dressing), baked spiral-sliced ham (glazed with brandied cherry sauce), carved baron of beef au jus, made-to-order omelet station (first session only) and squash soup.

The side dishes will include mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes (with pecans and maple glaze) and fall vegetable medley.

Additionally, there will be a salad bar, where customers can choose creamy coleslaw, cranberry relish, marinated beet salad, garden green salad and relishes, pickled vegetables, assorted salads and hhouse-made dressings.

For dessert, pumpkin pie and a pastry chef’s assortment will be available.

Beer and wine will be available at a cash bar during dinner hours.
