Hammond Planetarium Hosting Star Talk This Fall

DEARBORN – Henry Ford Community College will present “The Road Not Taken: A Fall Star Talk” at the HFCC Hammond Planetarium, located in Room S-102 of the HFCC Science Center, from September 10 through December 10.

The program will take place on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday during the fall with different showing times for each day.

The Tuesday show time is 7:30 p.m. on the following dates:

· Sept. 10, 17, 24

· Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

· Nov. 5, 12, 19, and 26

· Dec. 3, 10

The Friday show time varies on the following dates:

· Oct. 4 at 7 p.m.

· Nov. 1 at 6 p.m.

· Dec. 6 at 8 p.m

The Saturday show time is 3 p.m. on the following dates:

· Sept. 14

· Oct. 12, 26

· Nov. 9, 23

Doors will open 15 minutes before show time and close when the program begins. For safety reasons, latecomers cannot be admitted once the doors close.

HFCC Fine Arts Instructors Susan McGraw and Dale Van Dorp will narrate the program. Van Dorp is known as “The Voice of Dearborn.”

There will also be a short multimedia presentation about Venus during each session.

These events are free and open to the public and no reservations are necessary. Seating is available on a first come/first serve basis.
