Beer-tasting, BBQ fundraiser at museum

DEARBORN – The Dearborn Historical Museum will host a beer-tasting and BBQ fundraiser from 5 to 11 p.m. Sept. 27 on the McFadden Ross House grounds, 915 S. Brady.

The $9 ticket includes admission, glass mug, and one free glass of beer, wine or root beer. Designated drivers receive a free non-alcoholic beverage.

Dragonmead microbrewery and Kuhnhenn Brewery Co. will participate.

Patrons can buy ribs, pulled pork, brisket, chicken, turkey and handcut french fries from the Detroit BBQ Co.

Live entertainment by 80s Inc. will round out the night.

Parking at the museum and Ford Field is free. There is a free shuttle service to and from Ford Field.

Tickets are available at the McFadden Ross House; City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 13615 Michigan Ave.; Double Olive, 22027 Michigan Ave.; and at the door. All proceeds will benefit the museum.
