Local artist Tony Miello teaches the basics of creating a comic book and using pictures to tell a story during Comics!, a program hosted by Bacon Memorial Library Wednesday in Wyandotte. Miello encouraged the teens to use their imagination by drawing their own monsters with more than two eyes, lots of hair, and at least one horn. Miello is a local artist and creator of the comic strip Gapo the Clown. The program was the last in a series of summer reading programs at the library, 45 Vinewood St. The library will begin hosting events in September.
