Jewelry stolen from Macy’s

DEARBORN — Jewelry valued at a “very large dollar amount” was stolen from Macy’s department store about 10:45 a.m. March 29, according to a Dearborn Police Department press release.

The exact value was not provided.

The suspect was described as a medium to lightly complected black man approximately 6 feet 4 inches tall with a large build and is believed to be between 30 and 40 years old. He was wearing a green knit cap and a black jacket which had a logo on the back containing a large capital “D” above the image of a panther. Below the image of the panther was the letter “P.”
