Norwood is the son of Diane Norwood of Ash Street in Wyandotte, and nephew of Denise Bell of Cleopus Parkway of Lincoln Park. He is a 2010 graduate of Southgate Anderson High School. Joshua L. Carroll Army Pvt. Joshua L. Carroll has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman. Carroll is the grandson of Billy Blair of Park Avenue in Lincoln Park. He is a 2007 graduate of Lincoln Park High School. Michael L. Adams Air Force Airman 1st Class Michael L. Adams graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Earhart is the son of Wayne and Sharon Earhart of Claremont Street in Dearborn. He is a 2008 graduate of Dearborn High School. He earned an associate degree in 2011 from Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn. Elmondo B. Smith Army Pfc. Elmondo B. Smith has graduated from One Station Unit Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Mo., which included basic military training and advanced individual training. During basic military training, the trainee received instruction in drill and ceremony, weapons qualification, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army doctrine, history, principles and traditions. During AIT, the soldier completed the military police specialist course to acquire skills to provide combat area support, conduct battlefield circulation control, area security, prisoner of war operations, civilian internee operations, and law and order operations. Smith is the son of Satonia and Tyre Smith of East Pickwick Circle in Taylor. He is a 2008 graduate of Taylor Kennedy High School.
