A&C Auto Care, 8025 N. Telegraph in Dearborn Heights, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting Oct. 29. Dearborn Heights Mayor Dan Paletko (third from left) cut the ribbon with Wendy Fichter (left), Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce director of Small Business Development; A&C Auto Care owner Al Bazzi; owner Candy Bazzi; mechanic Ali Gana; and Renee Aloe, DACC director of Membership Services. Al Bazzi is a 15-year veteran of the auto repair business. The owners said the company will focus on individualized service and quality workmanship. “We take time to listen to our customers, then make sure the work is done right the first time,” All Bazzi said.

Dearborn Hills Pharmacy, 24755 Ford Road in Dearborn, celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting Oct. 29. Dearborn Mayor John O’Reilly Jr. helped cut the ribbon with husband-and-wife owners Khodr and Houda Hamka, friends and family. Plans for the pharmacy are regular health clinics, nurse consultations, seminars, medical education as well as provide free delivery and offer free blood pressure and sugar checks. The pharmacy offers online refills and 20 percent discounts for senior citizens.
