Care for Carl
Carl is a small senior male poodle who is sweet and would do well as a constant companion. He came to the pound as a neglected pet and was not potty trained, but is a quick learner.

Sergeant aced his test
Sergeant is an adult male Labrador retriever mix who passed his temperament test with all A’s. He’s friendly and still needs work on jumping and pulling. He’s afraid of cats but good with most other dogs.

Radar’s playful
Radar is a large 4-year-old male American staffordshire terrier who tested well in obedience school, earning a B. He does not care for younger dogs but gets along well with cats. He likes to run and grab his toy when he sees someone walk into the pound in the hopes they will throw it to him.

Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
