MELVINDALE — Police here are still looking for four suspects in an alleged stabbing at a local bar in late October.

Three men allegedly were stabbed in a fight at White Rhino Bar, 4238 Oakwood, Oct. 28, Det. Chad Detrich said.

About 2 a.m. that day, officers responded to the bar, where three bleeding men said they were stabbed in a fight outside the bar involving up to five attackers.

The fight apparently began when an unknown woman punched one of the three injured men, although one of the three told police he was injured while breaking up a fight between two other patrons, who in turn attacked him.

Two of the men had stab wounds. The three injured men were transported to Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center and Henry Ford —Wyandotte Hospital.

Police did not find the weapon used in the alleged stabbing and no witnesses reported seeing it.

“We’ve talked to all the victims,” Detrich said. “We’re still looking to I.D. the suspects.”

Detrich said the attackers came together and the victims all knew each other but the two groups were strangers before the fight.

The suspects are described as a Hispanic man in his 30s with straight hair, a gray-haired Hispanic man in his 40s, a Hispanic woman with long brown hair and another Hispanic woman for whom no description was given. A third man also may be involved.

Witnesses saw the suspects leave the scene in either a gray Chevrolet Impala or a black Chevrolet Malibu, Detrich said.
