TAYLOR — Investigation continues and a reward may be available for information on a shooting incident that wounded a 9-year-old boy.

Taylor Police Cmdr. Mary Sclabassi said that no arrests have been made. About 11 p.m. Aug. 18, a bullet went through the front door of a house in the 25000 block of Haskell.

“We are continuing to investigate,” Sclabassi said.

The gunshot hit a 9-year-old in the right arm; the boy was taken to Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit and released after being treated for a minor wound.

Sclabassi said the department contacted CrimeStoppers last week about a possible reward being offered for information.

The boy was in the house with his mother and two teenagers at the time of the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Taylor Det. Sgt. Troy Cox at 734-374-1446.
