DEARBORN — Police are looking into the death of a Dearborn man whose body was found July 15 in a house in the 6200 block of Williamson.

Police, who suspect foul play was involved, responded to the city’s east end and discovered 45-year-old Hassan Jaber dead inside his house, according to a city press release.

Police are investigating the case as a homicide.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s office said the cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said the police department will investigate to the fullest in Jaber’s death.

“I’m requesting anyone with any information in this incident to please contact the Dearborn Police Department,” Haddad said in the press release.

Dearborn Police Lt. Doug Topolski did not return calls seeking comment by press time.
