32-gallon container marked “Yard Waste” is one way to package your leaves.

DEARBORN – Residents may continue to put their leaves curbside in 32-gallon containers marked “Yard Waste” or in paper landscape bags on their trash days.

Yard waste stickers to mark containers are available at City Hall. Paper yard waste bags do not need stickers.

Leaves in plastic bags or in cardboard boxes will not be picked up.

In addition, collection of loose leaves raked into the streets is scheduled to continue until Dec. 2, depending on the weather. Leaves will be picked up on Public Service/trash days during non-recycling weeks.

For a weekly leaf collection schedule, call the Leaf Hotline at 313-943-2444.
