’Fawn’ over her
Fawn is an older female Chihuahua/Jack Russell terrier mix. She needs a good home.


Jilly’s a joy
Jilly, a Labrador retriever/pit bull terrier mix, is a sweet puppy who is very energetic. She is very friendly and will need to be trained. She is about 6 months old. Please check your city’s breed laws before applying, as Jilly is a pit bull mix, and some cities do not allow them.


Butler’s your buddy
Butler, a pit bull terrier/Staffordshire bull terrier mix, is an adult male. He is a nice dog who is a little shy at first but warms up quickly. He needs training and does not get along well with cats. Check your city’s breed laws before applying, as some do not allow pit bull mixes.

Dog adoption fees are $85 and cat adoption fees are $60 (both in cash). Fees include spaying or neutering, first distemper vaccine and a rabies vaccine if the animal is old enough. The Wyandotte Animal Pound is at 1170 Grove, west of 11th Street. Adoption hours are 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
