Cheerleaders wanted for youth flag football program

Registrations are being accepted through March 1 for Michigan Flag Football’s all-new revised cheer program for 2011.

Teams are formed by school and grade; all will be led by paid and trained instructors. Members will receive collegiate-quality uniforms, including pompoms, that are theirs to keep. There are no tryouts, competitions, travel or fundraising.

Teams will cheer on sidelines during live NFL Youth Flag Football games. The program is offered in partnership with the Trenton Parks and Recreation department. Games and practice are at Woodhaven High School. For more information call Call (248) 454-9700 or go to www.michiganyouthflagfootball.com.

Michigan Youth Flag Football is the state’s largest NFL youth flag football and cheerleading organization for boys and girls in prekindergarten through eighth grade.
