Homecoming wouldn’t be Homecoming without fireworks on Saturday and Sunday nights.

There is a policy regarding reserving space on the hill to watch the fireworks.

People can put their blankets on the hill after 8 a.m. on Saturday and after 8 a.m. on Sunday.

All blankets must be removed by midnight both nights.

The size of a blanket is limited to no more than 8 feet by 8 feet.

This policy is designed to accommodate as many families as possible to watch the fireworks.

No stakes are allowed to secure the blankets or tarps.

Main Stage reservations
Seats in front of the Main Stage can be reserved after 5 p.m. but must be saved by a person. One person may save up to four seats, including the seat that he or she is sitting in.

New policy in 2010: No smoking
According to a new state law, there is no smoking allowed in areas in which food is prepared or consumed. In addition, there is no smoking allowed in any tents.

Go to www.cityofdearborn.org for the complete schedule of activities at the festival.
