Suspect Arrested for 2 Robberies in Dearborn

Dearborn, Mi. — On 05-03-2010 at approximately 6:15 in the evening a male entered the Kroger store located at 15255 Michigan, implied a weapon, and robbed an employee at a check out lane. The employee handed over cash after the suspect said he had a gun and threatened to shoot her. The suspect fled the scene driving a tan late 1990’s Ford Taurus or Mercury Sable.

On 05-04-2010 a potential suspect in the Kroger robbery was identified by Dearborn Detectives . While police searched for the robbery suspect a second robbery was reported at the Dollar Tree store located at 10830 Warren. At approximately 5:05 in the afternoon a male entered the store, implied a weapon, and threatened to shoot a cashier. The suspect fled the store with cash and was apprehended by Dearborn plainclothes officers a short distance away. It was determined that the same suspect committed both robberies.

Chief Haddad stated “The Dearborn Police Department plain clothes unit is an invaluable resource in the apprehension of violent criminals. The Dearborn Police Department will continue to utilize all of their available resources to combat and prevent crimes and protect citizens.”

The suspect, Hence Fennoy, a 64 year old Detroit resident, was charged and arraigned on two counts of Robbery Armed. Judge Wygonik set a $40.000.00 cash bond and a preliminary exam is scheduled for May 14, 2010 at 9am.
