DEARBORN –The city has begun its 2010 season for Public Service Days.

Public Service Days will be every week through Dec. 3 on each neighborhood’s trash day. The effective hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tickets will be issued to owners of parked vehicles left on the streets during Public Service Days hours.

The program allows the city to deliver services, like street-sweeping, in an effective manner every week.

Remember, if trash is picked up on Monday, the Public Service Day for that neighborhood is Monday. If trash day is Tuesday, Public Service Day is Tuesday. The pattern continues through the rest of the week.

Public Service Days are scheduled differently in neighborhoods throughout the city.

Check or call (313) 943-2886 for general information on the program.
