DTE contractor will be in Dearborn neighborhoods to conduct home visits

DEARBORN, Mich. – The City of Dearborn has been notified that Clearesult Consulting, a subcontractor for DTE Energy, will be in Dearborn neighborhoods making unannounced visits to DTE customers from Dec. 15 to Dec. 23 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Clearesult has filed the proper paper work with the City Clerk’s office in order to canvass the area. The City of Dearborn does not endorse or object to this activity, but requires all canvassers to follow city ordinances.

According to Clearesult, the employees will be asking permission to enter the home in order to provide advice on how to make the homes more energy efficient and will be passing out and installing free energy efficient light bulbs, thermostats and shower heads.

They will also be counseling homeowners on how to qualify for energy rebate checks from DTE.

All Clearesult employees will have picture identification badges. The employees will be driving a gold Buick Rendezvous, a gray Saturn, or a gray Chevy Trailblazer.
