The Post Bar is teaming up with Dearborn Heights-based Casinos Wild – one of Michigan’s premiere casino-style gaming management firms – to stage weekly charity games, which are offered from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. each Sunday through Wednesday. All proceeds benefit a different Dearborn charity each week. Participants must be 21 years or older to play. Patrons can play popular table games, including Fixed Limit, Hold ’Em, Omaha and Round by Round. Games have low buy-in amounts, making it easy to play. Proceeds from the program’s inaugural week (held July 12 to 15) will be donated to Father Patrick O’Kelly Knights of Columbus Council 3860 in Dearborn. At the ribbon cutting to mark the launch of the program are (from left): Jim Pease, Knights of Columbus event chairman; Patty Deeb-Amigoni, founder and president of Casinos Wild; Vicky O’Connor of Casinos Wild; Steve Olinzock, Knights of Columbus Faithful Navigator; Kenneth Gusfa, Council 3860 Grand Knight; Mayor John O’Reilly Jr.; Post Bar owner Fred Giordano; and City Council Members Nancy Hubbard and Robert Abraham. The Post Bar is at 22065 Michigan Ave.; its phone number is (313) 277-3524. To stage a casino-themed fundraiser, corporate event or party, or to learn how to work as a casino dealer, contact Casinos Wild at (313) 274.2850 or go to www.casinoswild.com.
